Empathic Edge provides AI-powered emotional support and wellness tools. You must be at least 13 years of age to use this service. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

2. Not Medical Advice

Empathic Edge is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The service provides emotional support and wellness guidance, but it is not therapy or counseling.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact emergency services immediately or call a crisis helpline such as 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) in the United States.

3. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Empathic Edge, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to Empathic Edge. By submitting content, you grant us a license to use, store, and process that content to provide and improve our services.

You are responsible for the content you share and must not submit content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Use automated systems to access the service without permission

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Empathic Edge, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software, are the property of Empathic Edge and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Empathic Edge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past twelve months, or $100, whichever is greater.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the “Effective Date” above. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
